CRSD will return to regular hours tomorrow. Due to hazardous road conditions, limited bus routes will run on cleared paved roads only and avoid snow packed areas. If students are unable to reach their bus stop due to the weather conditions we have a couple central locations. The Tire Shop in Gillham and The Rock Store in Hatfield with arrival time at 6:45am and departure time at 7:00am. The Liberty Hill Church in Umpire with arrival time at 6:30am and departure time at 6:45am. CRSD volverá a su horario habitual mañana. Financial Aid Night
Please join us at the CRHS library for our annual Financial Aid Night on January 15, 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Discover valuable information to navigate the new financial aid process and apply for the Federal Pell Grant. This event is open to high school seniors and their parents/guardians. Seniors and both parents must create and have a FSA ID before attending. . Please note that it could take up to three days to have a FSA ID approved. Getting ready for coding during this spring semester, the 5th and 6th graders at Umpire Elementary created paths and wrote code for their classmate's to follow.
Due to the inclement weather, all CRSD campuses will be closed Thursday, January 9th and Friday, January 10th, 2025.

Fifth and sixth graders at Umpire School recently took on an exciting challenge: building roller coasters for marbles using only cardstock and tape! They investigated how much of the gravitational potential energy of a marble at the starting point is converted into kinetic energy as it rolls along the track.

We are currently monitoring the weather. Wednesday we will be able to get a better forecast based on data from the weather services. A decision on school closure due to the inclement weather will be made as early as Wednesday evening.
