🔭Happy Retirement, Mrs. Vicki Smith! 🧪 After years of inspiring curious minds and spreading joy through the halls of CRES, our beloved 4th grade science teacher, Vicki Smith, is stepping into a well-deserved retirement! Mrs. Smith brought science to life in the most joyful and creative ways. Her classroom was filled with excitement, laughter, and learning—and her legendary sense of humor kept us all on our toes! Whether she was igniting a love of learning in her students or sneaking up to give a playful scare to her coworkers (yes, we’re still recovering from a few of those 😱), Mrs. Smith made every day brighter! She didn’t just teach science—she taught kindness, curiosity, and how to love what you do. Her love for her students and coworkers has left a lasting mark on all of us. Today, we had the joy of celebrating an incredible career and an even more incredible person. Mrs. Smith, your CRES family came together to honor the laughter, love, and learning you’ve given us all these years—and what a special day it was! EAGLES SOCCER STATE FINALS SEND-OFF! Calling at Eagles Soccer fans! A community send-off for the Eagles Soccer Team is scheduled for Friday, May 23, at 1:00 PM as the team leaves town. All who wish to participate in the send-off should safely line both sides of highway 278 in Wickes, starting at the old EZ Mart parking lot and heading east toward Umpire. We hope to see a huge turnout for this incredible group of student athletes and their coaches! If you plan to attend the state championship game on Saturday, please see our previous posts with ticket and location information!

Last week was Kindergarten Signing Day at Umpire Elementary! 🎉 Our incoming kindergarteners signed their Letter of Intent to officially join the Wildcat family! We’re so excited to welcome the Class of 2038

Kindergarten Graduation at Umpire! Umpire Kindergarten celebrated graduation last week with a fun party and a sweet ceremony! We are so proud of these little Wildcats and can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll do as they continue their journey. Their futures are looking bright!

Eagles Soccer State Finals Fan Bus and Ticket Information The Cossatot River Eagles will take on the Episcopal Wildcats in the 3A State Championship Soccer Game on Saturday, May 24, 2025! The match will be held on the campus of UCA in Conway starting at 10:00 AM. We will be taking a fan bus for any CRHS students who would like to attend the game and cheer the eagles to victory! FAN BUS INFORMATION: Our fan bus will leave at 6:00 AM from CRHS on Saturday morning. Any students interested in going must return a signed permission form to the CRHS office by THURSDAY (5/22) at noon. Forms may be picked up in the CRHS office, or printed using the link below.
