CRPS celebrates National Librarians Day.

ALL K-12 students at Umpire School had a chance to have fun predicting winners, creating cereal boxes featuring some of the combatants, and learning a lot of animal (and plant) science. Below are the winners listed, and some photos of the fun! The individual winners completed an entire bracket before the tournament started. The small group and class wide brackets were completed round by round.
March Mammal Madness (MMM) is an annual, simulated tournament inspired by the NCAA basketball tournament, but it pits various animals (and sometimes plants)against each other in hypothetical battles. It's a fun and educational competition organized by a team at Arizona State University (ASU) led by Dr. Katie Hinde.

Umpire Elementary students kicked off ATLAS testing with a cool treat — sno cones for everyone! What better way to fuel up and get focused than with a sweet surprise? Way to start strong, students!
