Cossatot River High School Named National Beta School of Distinction
National Beta is proud to announce Cossatot River High School as a 2019-2020 National School of Distinction. This award is an honor for Beta Clubs striving towards academic achievement, exemplary character, demonstrated leadership and service to others. With an ongoing quest to instill these qualities in more students, the National Beta School of Distinction Award is designed to award those schools that show an increase in membership for the current school year.
Award recipients received a National Beta School of Distinction banner to proudly display as a symbol of their accomplishment.

Congratulations to Katelyn Baker, recipient of the Rachel Norman Memorial Choir Scholarship. Katelyn is a senior at Cossatot River High School and plans to attend UARM in the fall and then transfer to UAFS to earn a Radiologic Technology degree. She is a 6 year member of the Cossatot River Choirs and a 6 year member of the South Arkansas All-Region Choir. Vandervoort Elementary Yearbooks will be handed out Friday May 15th from 12-3 at Vandervoort Elementary Campus. Also, if you have not purchased a yearbook you may do so at this time. The price of a yearbook is $20.
Vandervoort Elementary and Wickes Elementary will hold their Kindergarten registrations on May 11th-13th from 7:00 am- 4:00 pm. Please bring the following documents: Birth Certificate and Social Security Card.

Attention CRHS 2020 Seniors! We need your pictures!
Please send any pictures you would like to have included on your slides for graduation to Ms. Hunter via email (jhunter@cossatot.us) by Wednesday, April 29, 2020. Pictures can include individual and senior pictures, friends and family, school events, activities that you enjoy, or other things that are important to you. Depending on the space available, some pictures may not be used.

Update regarding meals:
Bus route meal deliveries will end on April 30th.
The next two weeks, May 4-7 and May 11-14, meals provided to students will only be available by drive thru pick up at WES, CRHS, and Umpire campuses from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The last day for meals will be May 14th.

Attention CRHS Students:
Any student needing to get personal items, return library books, and/or return anything to the school may do so Monday's, Tuesday's and Thursday's by calling 870-387-4200 to make an appointment.
Students will be the only ones allowed into the school. Parents and all others will be asked to stay in their vehicle in the parking lot.
Van-Cove Preschool is now taking applications for the 2020-2021 school year!
Starting Tuesday April 21st meals will be available at the Umpire campus and bus routes will continue delivery as before.
Attention Vandervoort Elementary Faculty and families: AMI packets are available now on the porch in the filing cabinets as usual. However we have other exciting news for you!
Teachers and staff will be gathering in front of Vandervoort Elementary on Tuesday, April 21st, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm to pass out AMI packets if you haven’t already picked them up. We will also hand out spring pictures and personal belongings of the students in a drive thru fashion. We will be able to wave and see all our kids! This isn't mandatory, but we would love to see a big turn out, even if just to wave and shout! Please wear PPE if you have any! So, roll down those windows, give us a shout, and a wave!
Remember, everyone must stay in your vehicles for safety.

Vandervoort Elementary Students:
AMI packets for K-4 have been completed and are in filing cabinets by the office door. 5th and 6th grade Math and Science packets will be in filing cabinets today.
Effective Immediately:
Umpire campus will not provide meals to the students until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to provide them again soon.
Effective Monday, April 13th, CRSD will only provide meals 3 days per week to children 18 and under. Meals will continue to be delivered by bus route & designated bus stops. Grab & go meals will continue to be available at the Cossatot River High School, Wickes Elementary, & Umpire campuses from 11 a.m. to noon. If you have any questions or need arrangements made, please contact Carla Harwood, Child Nutrition Director, at (479) 216-3324. We hope all of our students are staying safe & healthy. We miss all of you!
