FREE Meals for Every Student — All Year Long! We are excited to share that every student in the Cossatot River School District will receive breakfast, lunch, and snack at no cost for the entire 2025–2026 school year! This opportunity is made possible through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which means no applications or income forms are required. Just free, healthy meals for all students, every day! Providing meals at no cost is one way we are removing barriers and making sure every student has the fuel they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

The Lady Eagles wrapped up a busy summer of team camps this week at Nashville! Both teams worked hard, showed tremendous growth, and made major strides—especially in the areas they’ve been focusing on during practice. We’re so proud of their dedication and progress, and we can’t wait to see what the upcoming season holds! 🦅🏀

🏅 Congratulations, Gwen Bradshaw! 🏅🎉 We are incredibly proud to announce that Gwen Bradshaw has officially punched her ticket to the Junior Olympics! 🇺🇸💪 At Regionals—which brought together top throwers from Arkansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Kansas—Gwen had an outstanding showing: 🥉 3rd place in Discus 🏅 4th place in Shot Put Both performances earned her a spot at the Junior Olympics, and we couldn’t be more proud of her hard work, talent, and determination! Way to represent Cossatot River in a BIG way, Gwen! 🖤🦅

BELL TO BELL, NO CELL! 📵 Attention Parents/Guardians and Students, We want to make sure you’re informed and ready! Beginning with the 2025–2026 school year, the Arkansas Bell to Bell, No Cell Act will be enforced in all public schools, including Cossatot River School District. This new law prohibits students from using personal electronic devices during the entire school day—from the first bell to the last. The Arkansas Activities Association has designated June 22 through July 5, 2025, as mandatory dead weeks. During this period, all athletic facilities across the Cossatot River School District will be closed.

What an incredible experience for Dillon Loving! He was blessed with the opportunity to play in the Red River FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) All-Star Game last night. From a special pregame meal to practice and game time, Dillon had the chance to connect and compete with some amazing all-star athletes from across Arkansas. We’re so proud of him and thankful for this memorable opportunity! 🦅🏀

🔭Happy Retirement, Mrs. Vicki Smith! 🧪 After years of inspiring curious minds and spreading joy through the halls of CRES, our beloved 4th grade science teacher, Vicki Smith, is stepping into a well-deserved retirement! Mrs. Smith brought science to life in the most joyful and creative ways. Her classroom was filled with excitement, laughter, and learning—and her legendary sense of humor kept us all on our toes! Whether she was igniting a love of learning in her students or sneaking up to give a playful scare to her coworkers (yes, we’re still recovering from a few of those 😱), Mrs. Smith made every day brighter! She didn’t just teach science—she taught kindness, curiosity, and how to love what you do. Her love for her students and coworkers has left a lasting mark on all of us. Today, we had the joy of celebrating an incredible career and an even more incredible person. Mrs. Smith, your CRES family came together to honor the laughter, love, and learning you’ve given us all these years—and what a special day it was!
