Second grade talked about different types of birds this week. Students discussed what type of food the birds eat and what type of feeder they may need. Students ended the lesson with creating their own bird feeder!





CRSD-UMPIRE School in conjunction with the Howard County Sheriff's Dept. Officer Brandon Smith have constructed Disaster Preparedness tubs for each room on campus. Thank you to CRSD and Howard County Sheriff's office for your continued support. Brooklyn and the STUCO led by Phoebe Pinson are putting the materials together for each class.


CRSD School Board recognized Umpire Jr. Basketball teams as the October Eagle Pride Recipient. Students were recognized at the October 13, 2022 Board Meeting. Present to accept the recognition were Gabe Golden, Dustin Terrill, and Coach Phoebe Pinson. Congratulations to the Umpire Wildcats Jr. Basketball teams.


The Umpire Senior Class will be selling temporary spirit tattoos on game days for 75¢ each! Show your school spirit, and remember to come out to our Blue and White game on Friday, Oct. 14!

The Umpire Senior Class will be hosting the annual cake walk at the Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 28th! They are accepting donations of cake mixes, icing, and disposable, aluminum pans from now until Oct. 27. Donations of premade cakes and desserts will be accepted on Thursday, October 27 and Friday, October 28, at the Umpire School.


The Blue/White Game for our Umpire JR Basketball Teams is tomorrow, Friday, October 14th at 5:00 p.m. We hope to see you there!

CRSD is offering all students an opportunity to receive learning services at their school on Mondays! This is to help our students "soar" academically! It can be homework help, catching up on missing work, or just a place to work quietly in a school setting on schoolwork with a teacher available. There is no formal registration, no commitment to every Monday, and it is open to all grades. If possible, just let the principal know your child will be coming.
