A big shoutout to our amazing Umpire students who participated in the Girl Power event at the DeQueen Mena Co-op!
With the support of Mr. Brandon Smith and Mr. Monte Fain, our girls worked hard and got their projects completed, showing creativity, teamwork, and determination. Umpire Campus is now set to receive a laser machine thanks to their efforts!

Attention Mini Cheer Participants!
Congratulations to CRHS junior Ulysses Lopez who earned a spot in the Bass 2 section of the Arkansas All State Choir this past Friday in Jonesboro. This is Ulysses' second year to place in the prestigious all state choir. He will be attending the Arkansas All State Choir Convention in Hot Springs Feb 20-22 and performing in a formal concert on Saturday, February 22.

This month during keyboarding/STEM pullout, Umpire Kindergarteners are exploring and classifying pushes and pulls, while the 1st and 2nd Graders are investigating materials, properties, sound, and vibrations. This week Kindergarten did card sorts and had a dance break while 1st/2nd Grade had some fun watching videos of speakers with rice and oobleck on them and a video of guitar strings up close, and then were able to investigate the effects tuning forks had on water. It's always fun to make a mess, even with just water!
