CRPS wants to say thank you to Mrs. Cowart for spoiling her staff with a hot cocoa bar yesterday!


Due to the overwhelming amount of students and teachers who are sick, Umpire High School will not go to Dierks Nursing and Rehab tomorrow. We do not want to spread to anyone there. We will reschedule after the holidays. All students will have their parties at 3:10. Merry Christmas!

Congratulations to CRHS students (l to r) Ashton Miller, Emanuel Trinidad, David Ortiz, and Cory Diaz who all earned industry-recognized certifications this week in Advanced Microsoft Word!


CRHS hosted their first Chess Tournament Invitational on Monday, December 11, 2023. Participants competed with other schools in JR High and SR High divisions. In the JR High division, Serena Gray of Mt. Ida and Dexter Caston of Greenwood tied for 1st place; 2nd place-Trevor Willbanks of Greenwood; 3rd place-Caleb Summitt of Mt. Ida. SR High division: 1st-Riley Dunn of CRSD, 2nd- Isaac Buzbee of Greenwood, 3rd-Michael Turner of Greenwood. Congratulations to these students and thank you to all participating schools. Students showed wonderful sportsmanship and exemplary attitude.





Hazael Cordova was the first student in 2020 to receive his Biliteracy Seal within our district. CRHS wants to recognize him for being our first pioneer.


Umpire 8th Grade FACS students have been busy in the kitchen. Today was chocolate pie. Next week will be peanut butter cookies for families in need of holiday cheer. Thank you, Laken Kirby, for your grandmother's recipe.



EAST Initiative has selected Cossatot River High School as one of the stellar programs from 5 different regions of the state to shine at the upcoming "AR STEM @The Capitol Day" event on April 23, 2024. CRHS EAST will showcase unique projects demonstrating the impact of EAST and K-12 STEM education to legislators and stakeholders from around Arkansas.

CRHS Cossatot Cubers competed in the SWAEC Cubing Open Invitational where they placed 1st as a team, solving 25 cubes in 2.21 minutes. In the solo division, Riley Dunn placed 1st solving his cube in 15.5 seconds. Jesse Dosch placed 2nd with a 22.2 second solve. All CRSD students competing solved their cubes in less than a minute with most placing in the top 5.
